ICYMI: Weekly Roundup 📰

Check Out What You May Have Missed From Last Week

Acclaimed photographer Pete Thompson recently released “’93 Til,” a book that captures some of the most epic skateboard photographs from the late ’80s up through 2004.

Although he stepped away from shooting skating more than a decade ago, Thompson kept an insane archive of shots that he’s taken over the years. From Kenny Reed to Kareem Campbell and Tony Hawk, ‘93 Til captures some amazing moments in skate history and is one of the most comprehensive photo books out there. We can only hope to see more like it.

New Deal Skateboards has teamed up with iconic artist and Obey founder, Shepard Fairey for a capsule collection. Fairey developed a close relationship with New Deal founder Andy Howell over the years even helping relaunch New Deal at his Subliminal Projects Gallery in Los Angeles late last year.

The collection drops on Monday, 9/28 at 3:43 pm PST. Huge caveat. We only think it’s PST because New Deal is out on the west coast. IG posts and everything we’ve seen online only mentions the capsule “drops at 3:43 pm.”
