Mike V x Mark Gonzales Brooklyn Banks

Back in 2017, Mike V and The Gonz hit up the Brooklyn Banks in the rain the rip around the historic spot while it was still around. Now, you’re able to purchase a print from the iconic session right here.

The photo was shot by photographer Rob Wallace while Mike V and Gonzalez got into a little doubles action.

Mike V mentioned:

It may be my favorite moment ever skating there, or in skating period.

Since 2010, the Brooklyn Banks have been rendered nearly unskateable due to an ongoing construction project on the bridge above. Then, in early May of this year, the very bricks that make up this Iconic Skate Spot were removed by the New York City Department of Transportation. Skaters around the world have rallied to Save The Banks with a petition making its rounds and gaining more than 40,000 signatures.
