GQ Catches Up With Alexis Sablone

It seems like Alexis Sablone is everywhere lately. From filming, editing, animating, and starring in clips to sit-downs with Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and dropping a shoe for CONS it gets us tired just thinking about it! Yet, Sablone keeps charging forward with more grit and tenacity than most.

Recently, Alexis sat down with Noah Johnson over at GQ for an in-depth conversation about getting into skating way back in 2002 via the cult classic Coliseum video and what they’ve been up to lately.

Some of that what includes creating animation and art directing for WKN, skateable public sculpture in Brooklyn, a series of Pride-themed sneakers for Converse, and a fiberglass light fixture for her bedroom, and a “weird chair.”
