Alex Olson Releases Debut Photography Book

Over the last 13 years, Alex Olson has gone from up-and-comer to one of the most-watched coveted pros in the game. The thing that sets Alex apart from others is his talents and interests that transcend skating. Take for example, his photography which is as badass as his skating.

Olson is as much behind the lens as he is in front of it. For more than a decade he’s shot some beautiful photos. And now, he’s linked up with the folks over at Paradigm Publishing to release a compilation of those images in “RED.”

The 56-page photo book is the first in a series of seven books that will explore all the colors on the spectrum. The first book in the series will also feature an intro written by artist, filmmaker, and famed photojournalist Craig Stecyk III. If you don’t know who he is you should totally check out his work. The dude has captured some of skate, surf and snow’s most epic moments.

As if that wasn’t enough all of the proceeds from the book sales are being donated to PATH of Greater Los Angeles and Arts for Incarcerated Youth Network. You can pick up a copy here.
